

Cannon bought Thorn-EMI’s entertainment buisness (cinemas,
film catalogue, home video) and released Highlander
at the cinema in the UK and then on home video VHS/Betamax.
In fact Cannon liked the Highlander tagline THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE™ they thought they’d use it in their
advertising with a
small change to THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE.
